Flu and Covid-19 vaccination clinics will be held at Highcliffe Medical Centre in early October 2024.
Timing is everything when it comes to vaccinations. The flu vaccine is most effective in the first three months after administration and protects you for at least six months. Since it takes about two weeks to become fully effective, getting vaccinated in early October ensures you’re covered throughout the winter season, when flu cases peak. While no vaccine is 100% effective, getting your flu shot significantly lowers your risk of severe complications.
