Highcliffe Medical Centre Clinical Advice Requests Options
To accommodate our patients’ diverse needs and preferences, we offer several methods for Clinical advice Requests with our GP surgery. Below are the available pathways:
1. Online Clinical Advice Requests
Steps:
Access the Online Consultation – SystmConnect: Visit our website at Highcliffe Medical Centre and click “Contact Us Online” from the pop-up or top main menu section.
Log in: You can use NHS app login and / or SystmOnline and Airmid app details.
Select Request Type: Choose the type of request and preferred method of contact.
Note: Please complete any pre-Clinical advice Requests questionnaires if prompted.
2. Telephone Clinical Advice Requests
Steps:
Call the Surgery: Dial the main reception number at 01425 272203 during office hours (8:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday).
Provide Details: State your full name, date of birth, and reason for the call.
Availability Check: The receptionist will ask a few questions to better signpost your request.
Confirmation: The receptionist will confirm your request has been added to a triage list over the phone, if not possible you will be added to a waiting list.
Note: For urgent concerns, please inform the receptionist so that they can prioritise your request. Even if your request is urgent, the clinical team will still need to triage it to assess the level of urgency and determine the most appropriate course of action.
3. In-Person (Reception) Clinical Advice Requests
Steps:
Visit the Reception Desk: Come to the surgery during office hours. (https://highcliffemedicalcentre.co.uk/opening-hours/)
Provide Details: State your full name, date of birth, and reason for the call.
Availability Check: The receptionist will ask a few questions to better signpost your request.
Confirmation: The receptionist will confirm your request has been added to a triage list, if not possible you will be added to a waiting list.

Additional Information:
Cancellations and Rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance through the same method you used to book the appointment.
Urgent Medical Issues: For medical emergencies, please call 999 or visit the nearest A&E department.
Out-of-Hours Care: For urgent issues outside normal hours, please call the NHS 111 service.
