New Shingles Vaccine Update
The new shingles programme starts on the 1st September 2023 and is a phased programme over 10 years.
Important: Please don’t call the surgery about this, you will be invited if you are eligible.
Current eligible patients need to meet the following criteria:
- Between 70 and 79 years old,
- 65 years old, but born between September 1, 1958, and August 31, 195
- 50 years or older and are severely immunocompromised
