How to get an appointment?

Steps for Patients to Request any Medical Advice Using SystmConnect :

  • Access the Portal:

Use the SystmConnect portal or your GP practice’s version of it (linked to SystmOne). The login details are typically provided by your GP surgery, note this is not mandatory,

  • Navigate to the Medical Advice Section:

Once logged in, you’ll likely see various sections for booking appointments, ordering prescriptions, and requesting medical advice.
Look for the relevant option to you.

  • Fill Out the Form:

You may be asked to fill in a form that requests details about your symptoms, medical history, or the reason for your enquiry.
Provide as much relevant information as possible, including any current medications or conditions.

  • Submit the Request:

Once you’ve completed the form, submit your request. The GP practice will receive the request and respond according to their usual process (which could involve a follow-up phone call, an in-person appointment, or an online response).

  • Receive Advice or Follow-Up:

Your GP will review your request and provide medical advice through the portal or contact you for further consultation, either via phone or by booking a follow-up appointment.
